1. Trip & Booking Contract

A booking is confirmed when Alpine Vista Treks issues written confirmation after receiving the required deposit. Please review all booking details carefully and notify us immediately if corrections are needed.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Deposit Requirement

A 10% deposit of the total trip cost is required to secure your booking.

2.2 Accepted Payment Methods

  • Bank Transfer
  • Western Union
  • Online Payment Link
  • Cash (preferred; all major currencies)
  • Credit/Debit Cards (4% bank commission applies)

2.3 Final Balance

  • The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu, before the trip begins.
  • A full advance payment option is available upon request.
  • 2.4 Transaction Fees
  • International bank fees and card processing charges are the responsibility of the client.

3. Flexible Deposit Policy

  • Full Refund: For cancellations 30+ days before departure.
  • Deposit Held as Credit: For cancellations within 30 days.
  • Deposit Transfer: May be transferred to a friend/family member if you cancel less than 30 days before departure.

4. Cutting Your Trip Short

If you end your trip early, refunds cannot be provided for unused services.
Travel insurance may cover trip curtailment—contact your provider for details.

5. Passports & Visas (Nepal)

Passport validity must be at least 6 months beyond the arrival date and include one blank page.

  • Visa Fees on Arrival:
  • USD 30 – 15 days
  • USD 50 – 30 days
  • USD 125 – 90 days

Cash payment in major currencies is recommended.
We suggest completing the online visa form prior to arrival (valid for 15 days).

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended, covering:

  • Medical treatment
  • Evacuation
  • Trip cancellation
  • Loss & theft

Climbing trips require insurance that specifically includes mountaineering/climbing coverage.

7. Refusal of Service

  • Service may be refused for:
  • Fighting
  • Excessive drinking
  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Disrespect toward staff, trekkers, or local communities
  • Clients removed due to misconduct are not entitled to refunds.
  • 8. Use of Photos & Videos

Photos or videos taken by guides, staff, or photographers may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not want to appear in media, please inform us before your trip.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
