Spring Season (March to May)

Spring is considered the expedition season for the Khumbu region. As the winter snow gradually settles and melts, the skies get clear with the mild temperatures and excellent visibility. The glaciers are in good condition, promoting the extra enhanced experiences. The technical climbing is more manageable in this season. The Khumbu region will be vibrant and buzzing with the climbers making their way to the base camps of Everest and Island Peaks. The trails are lined with the blooming wildflowers such as rhododendrons, adding natural beauty in the lower altitudes. Summit day will be relatively warmer, so our mission will feel climbing-friendly. Overall, the season provides a lively atmosphere and great climbing conditions with the stunning views as rewards.

The cool temperatures will reduce the risks of unfortunate conditions like avalanches and excessive melting.

So, the conditions will be favourable. The Khumbu Valley will be lively but less crowded than spring’s Everest season, which makes the season ideal for those who seek serenity with adventure.
