Day 2

Kathmandu - Drive to Koto

After an early morning breakfast, begin your scenic drive from Kathmandu to Koto, covering approximately 245 km. Along the way, you will pass the Trishuli River and later follow the picturesque Marshyangdi River, known for its dramatic valleys and landscapes.Continuing through Besisahar and Dharapani, the road gradually climbs into the Annapurna region, with changing scenery from subtropical greenery to alpine terrain. We will have a relatively longer trek today. The trail from Koto to Meta ascends steeply along the steep terrain and will cross suspension bridges several times. The village will offer a quiet resting spot for acclimatization in the evening. We will settle in a teahouse and take on the dramatic scenery in Meta.
Day 4

Trek to Phu

We will continue our long adventure today as well, for about 7-8 hours. We will reach the ancient and cultural village of Phu. The trail today will pass through the barren landscapes, narrow gorges, and incredible scenery. Cultural richness along the trail will also peak today along the route. While we arrive at Phu village, we will encounter the rich Tibetan-style stone houses and welcoming villagers. Overnight will be in Ph,u enjoying the local hospitality and authenticity.
Day 5

Trek to Nar Village

We will leave Phu today and head towards a steady trail along the grasslands, streams, and high-altitude pastures. While we gradually descend, we will arrive at the village of Nar, which is a lively village set against the beautiful local culture and traditional footprints. The settlements are a living example of vibrant culture and traditions, with the locals often getting dressed in traditional clothes. We will spend a restful evening with the locals at a teahouse. Today’s evening will be a serene cultural experience.
Day 6

Acclimatization in Nar Village

We will have a restful day of acclimatization today. It is a crucial day before we cross Kang La Pass. We will have some opportunities to explore local monasteries and wander through the fields. We also have a few options to hike towards the nearby ridges for the excellent mountain views while helping ourselves with adaptation. We will have a restful evening and night while we prepare mentally for the demanding high-altitude journey tomorrow.
Day 7

Nar Trek (Cross Kang La Pass-5,322m ) to Ngawal

Today is probably the toughest and rewarding day of the trek. We will wake up early with a steep climb to cross the Kang La Pass. Standing tall at an altitude of 5322m, this crossing may take us many hours. From the top, we will be rewarded with the panoramic shape of Annapurna, Manaslu, and other distant peaks. The descent will also be demanding as we have to cross along the ridge line. After crossing for almost 10 hours, we will reach Ngawal. We will rest in a basic teahouse at Ngwal and reflect on the journey and accomplishment.
Day 8

Trek to Manang

We will cross another steady descent from Ngawal, following the foot of the Marsyangdi Valley on a short but rewarding journey. We will get the panoramic vistas of Annapurna and Gangapurna en route.
